Ministry Strategy

Recognizing that growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ and living out His Great Commandant to Love God and Love People is more than just an academic exercise; our ministry strategy involves these three things:


Worshiping – Hearing God’s word and teaching on a regular basis and responding to the love that He has shown with our praise and worship. This happens in our corporate worship gathering and in our children’s worship time.


Connecting – Gathering in smaller groups to learn more, to support each other, to pray for one another and to sharpen one another. This happens is
Sunday school classes, GEMS, Cadets, breakout, and small groups (Bible studies, fellowship groups, affinity groups, service groups).


Serving – We live out our relationship with God through lives of service. We will regularly engage in acts of service to those outside of the Sonlight body, globally and locally, through existing ministry opportunities (New Way Ministries, Three Trees, Habitat for Humanity, etc) or through Sonlight organized opportunities (short term missions, MOPS, HOPE1:27, clean water project, fair workers ministry, etc).
